We are a large child friendly restaurant conveniently located in the heart of Cheadle Hulme with ample parking opposite for your convenience. Both the restaurant and toilets are on ground floor. We offer free Wifi! Sunday buffet! Take outs can be ordered and paid for over the phone! A bar license for drinks only until 1am!
All our food is freshly prepared and cooked on the premises, and gives a wide reflection of Eastern tastes varying from the popular sweet and sour to the Spicy and aromatic Thai!
We can also assist you with any dietary requirements e.g. Peanut and Gluten free.
Managed by Linda for nearly 18 years now, she is now joined by her new business partner Steven who has worked locally for 9 years and has brought even more impeccable service and a high standard of cuisine to Rainbow88. Aided by their friendly and amiable staff, Rainbow88 offers a great dining experience, ambience, it’s even better now after a new refurbishment with carefully chosen warm colours and a cosy new central heating system.
Rainbow88 has also been awarded a Proud of Stockport Award for Most Community Spirited Organisation. This is due to Linda’s phrase ‘I also like to give something back to the community’ and this has been proven by the amazing amounts of money raised over the years for local charities…totalling to over £200,000 for Dementia, Kidney Research, Cancer Related (Beechwood Cancer Care Centre, St Ann’s Hospice, Christies, MacMillan Nurses, Prevent Breast Cancer, Jo’s Trust), MS, NSPCC Schools Childline Services, Shopmobility Stockport, Stockport Mind, Swanbourne Gardens, respite for terminally ill children & many more local causes. rainbow88 is also very supportive of local schools, brownie clubs, scouts, etc….

Rainbow is one of the hubs of Cheadle Hulme, I have been a regular customer for 17 years, and people know how critical I can be. The food, service, atmosphere and sheer enjoyment of visitng Rainbow over the years has been nothing short of fantastic. Linda is a pure whirlwind, nothing is too much trouble she goes out of her way for customers old and new. She works tirelessly to raise funds for local charities. The Chef’s constantly tweek the menu, keeping it fresh and perfect.
Had the most amazing take away from here!!! Even my 2 year d and 3year old LOVED it everything was so fresh and full of flavour we have booked my husbands birthday party here too great service and amazing for the whole family even my sister who is coeliac and needs gluten free can come. Highly recommended
I have been enjoying delicious meals here with friends and family for years. I have had my birthday parties here too. The food is just the tastiest the menu is overwhelming u r spoilt for choice. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and atmosphere truly welcoming. The owner abd Staff are very attentive. From the most Kent u step in til you have to leave, this a truly sensational dim ng experience. U will not be disappointed!!!
Can highly recommend Rainbow88 for the Sunday buffet. Lots of variety and the atmosphere is fab, my children love it!! Also recommend take away too.
I absolutely love Rainbow 88! Linda is one of the loveliest, friendliest, selfless people I have ever met. Nothing is too much and I would rate her customer service levels at 10 stars. Linda remembers my favourite foods and wine is ready with them when I come into dine. Linda is constantly putting events on at Rainbow 88 to raise money for charities and I think she has raised £250,000 so far, which is phenomenal. My favourite food here is the dim sum, chicken curry and anything else really!!!
I have been going to Rainbow 88 for 7 years since I started working at my job and we have fantastic work nights out. The food is absolutely gorgeous and the staff are brilliant. We always have great time. Recently had a take away as no time to stay and eat and the food was just as nice as always. Highly recommend Rainbow 88 with Linda and all her great staff.
