Magpie Cottages and Spa sits alongside the river Goyt in 100 acres of rolling meadows and ancient woodlands and offers a rural retreat away from busy lives. Relax, Rewind and Refresh with our Holistic treatments -massages, hot stones, warm bamboo, aromatherapy or deep tissue. Treat your face, neck and shoulders to our natural and organic holistic facials or experience Indian head massage, reiki and reflexology which may be booked individually or combined in our signature experiences:-

These combination treatments provide deep relaxation, an escape from daily stresses and allow time to reflect, unwind and clear your mind!

Our “Overnight Holistic Spa Retreats” are a popular choice- these include a 40 min treatment per person, early evening private tropical spa 2 hours (hot tub, infra red sauna, steam room, showers, relaxation area) plus an overnight stay in one of our luxury cottages including breakfast hamper (home made organic bread, butter, home made jam, eggs from our chickens, tea, coffee, hot chocolate) and a further private spa session of 2 hours in the morning! Ideal for special occasions, birthdays anniversaries friendship groups or couples or just to treat yourself £120 per person inclusive.

Our traditional retreat cottages cater for longer stays, spa breaks, bespoke retreats and larger groups of family and friends and can accommodate up to 20 people; there is a choice of 5 cottages in the complex. Well behaved dogs are also welcome and we offer “Bring Your Horse on Holiday” and “Deluxe Equine Spa Training Camps” with great hacking and facilities.
