What we offer?
A range of Yoga and Pilates class styles for beginners to more advanced.
Our Two types of Heated Yoga classes are:
Hot Yoga 26 class which is the original form of Hot Yoga; a series of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises. Suitable for all levels, our classes are taught in a room heated to approx. 40°C. The Hot 26 series systematically works every muscle, tendon, joint, ligament, organ and gland. It also moves oxygenated blood to the cells of your body.

Hot Flow 60 class is a Vinyasa Flow Yoga, during class you keep moving which helps to improve cardio. Hot Flow classes are fun and varied, so don’t expect the same class each time although the key postures will be practiced each time these could be in a different sequence.

Hot flow Yoga is suitable for beginners and those who are already regular practitioner’s classes will often follow weekly themes and will be fine-tuned to the level and abilities of students.

Aerial Yoga – using a hammock this class is suitable for beginners to more advanced. This unheated class uses a hammock for support enables you to achieve advanced Yoga postures that can take years to develop without the hammock as well as experiencing the benefits for the body by hanging upside down, which is great for the spine as well as building confidence.

Mindflow Yoga interfaces Eastern wisdom with western psychology, psychotherapy and cognitive neuroscience, to reduce stress, anxiety and depression and learn to live well.
A class typically follows a set sequence each week, starting with a stability of mind practice, breath awareness practice, movement practice, body scan practice and finishing with an insight meditation practice. Over time, these practices develop greater mental stability, flexibility and emotional resilience to cope better with contemporary life.

Inferno Hot Pilates is a workout that incorporates Pilates principles with HIIT training in a heated room – it will bring on a sweat! This dynamic workout is designed specifically for the hot room and done to a motivating, energetic music soundtrack. The one-hour class is suitable for ALL fitness levels – beginners are welcome.

Body Control Pilates mat-based classes (coming soon in 2019) are also suitable for beginners.

This class is a body-conditioning method targets the deep postural muscles, it works by building strength from the inside out, rebalancing the body and bringing it into correct alignment.

Barre Concept – is the hot new workout spreading the globe, combining ballet with Yoga and the principles of Pilates. You might have thought that you had out grown your tutu and you’d put your plies and pirouettes behind you but if you like the sound of a workout that is going to create a long and lean physique and improve your core than its time to rediscover your inner ballerina! Practised in an unheated environment this non-stop class is done to the beat of the music and is a low impact, total body workout.

Bumps & Babies & Beyond
At Hot Lotus we have dedicated Pregnancy Yoga classes suitable for women in their second and third Trimester. Practicing pregnancy yoga can help to alleviate some of the common ailments often associated with pregnancy such as: backache, heartburn, swollen limbs etc. You will learn breathing techniques which can be used at any time during pregnancy and many women find them very useful when giving birth.

Hot Lotus also offers Baby Yoga and massage – an interactive class which is performed with a baby and it’s primary care givers. Baby Yoga is a centuries old tradition that provides both baby and parent with significant and undisputed benefits that are widely endorsed by medical practitioners across the world.

At Hot Lotus our schedule includes dedicated Kids Yoga classes which are specially modified to suit children of varying ages. We have classes for younger children aged 3-7 years and classes for 8-12 years.

Kids Yoga classes are a wonderful way to increase children’s co-ordination, self-awareness, confidence and self-esteem while they stretch and strengthen their bodies.

As children get older Yoga can help them to improve their self-confidence, releases day-to-day anxieties such as bullying and feelings of negativity as well as improving memory retention which helps children learn more easily and improves concentration levels.

Using Yoga children can learn to relax, concentrate and be gentle in a fun and creative environment.

Early bird, day-time, evening and weekend classes.
At Hot Lotus we have kept our drop-in price at a low rate of £12 for each class regardless of the duration of class. Note Aerial Yoga is only available in courses in blocks of approx. 6 sessions.

To save money on your classes as well as 5 and 10 class passes we have a variety of Memberships available depending on which type of classes you want to do and how often you want to come to class.

These memberships come with extra benefits including free guest passes, workshops and free mat and towel hire depending on the option you choose.
