Bramhall Osteopathic Practice
57 Woodford Road, Bramhall, Cheshire. SK7 1JR
Bramhall Osteopathic Practice opened its doors in 1989. It was initially an osteopathic practice pioneered by Joanna Cheaney, a registered osteopath. Over the years it has flourished and it now provides a multidisciplinary approach to physical and mental wellbeing. It has a team of highly qualified and experienced practitioners – 4 osteopaths, 2 acupuncturists, a women’s health physiotherapist and pilates teacher, a remedial masseuse and aromatherapist, a mindfulness and hypnotherapy practitioner, a podiatrist and yoga teacher.
The practice is both professional and friendly in atmosphere and has a team of very helpful receptionists who will happily deal with any enquiries.
The osteopathic team enjoy treating patients of all ages. We see babies and children with issues that may stem from the birth process or challenges of growth. We also see adults who may have mechanical issues linked with poor posture and ergonomic demands at work, sporting injuries, or linked with degenerative changes and the ageing process.
Treatment timed are 45 minutes which allows us to make sure we provide a thorough diagnosis, treatment plan and postural or exercise advice and to make sure the patient understands the condition and treatment options.
The other practitioners are all very experienced and have varying areas of special interest.
Please do pop in or phone and we will always be happy to answer any initial questions or just show you around the practice.
